Current Talk '03 II / In Your Face
« on: September 16, 2003, 02:55:25 AM »
I noticed this last time around, but it still gets me. Could the actors be any closer when talking or yelling in each other face.  I want to take a step back for them.  What about personal space.  Yesterday I was visiting with my cousin and she was a close talker, I just kept stepping back and yet she took a step forward.

Would someone give those "Faye" girls a new song!  Maybe Santa could put some sheet music in there stockings.

Birdie--I don't want to go to work humming "I want to dance with You"  someone might get the wrong idea!

Also a New England fan, Tarrytown works for me depending on when they hold the fest.  I would be the one who would be interested in the other tours in the area.  Jennifer I think it would only be about three hours from Ma.

Mrs. Johnson, I think would use Jean "A Tai.  Spelling is way off, but it seems to fit her personality and budget.

Dragonwyck, good movie, good book.  Thanks for reminding me of it.  I will have to tell my daughter about it.  She would enjoy reading the novel.  I think the movie has played on TCM in the last year.

I kind of like the fact that Julia is bossing everyone around including Liz.  I get a hoot out of how she has taken control.  Not that it is doing any good.

Great pictures!  So glad you were able to meet the wonderful KLS.  I still want to be her when I grow up.  It is also nice to see a face to the "name".  Glad your vacation was a good one.

Great pictures Bob!  I am so glad you had a wonderful time.  I would love to see Gypsy.  I saw Bernadette Peters in "Annie Get Your Gun".  She was fabulous!  I am still smarting for not being able to get down to Newport. and of course the Fest. Can't wait to see more photo's.

Jennifer, it stinks to be an adult!  This is a tight month, just paid two college tutitions, and the dam washing machine broke for the second time in a month. GRRRR......I would love to have seen "The Boss", of course I saw him so many years ago at U-Mass--when I really could have cared less.  Don't remember much about it either.  Also don't know about you but Sept. is school fund raiser month.

Oh well, every once in awhile it would be nice to be young again.

Very nicely stated.  Even though I was unable to attend this year I can understand and appreciate the hard work and dedication the people who organize this event.
