I used to like to watch "One Step Beyond". It was an anthology series which dramatized supposedly true stories of the paranormal. It's an old show which I saw in reruns in syndication years ago. I think it predates "Twilight Zone".

I like the idea of collector's plates with the DS places (Collinwood especially) and characters. Also, I have seen alot of handbags with pictures on them of Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn. You couldn't have one with Vicky on it for example (because AM is still alive, and I guess a person's image has to in the public domain) but it could have Collinwood on it or Widow's Hill. I want a DS handbag.

Maybe I just have DS on the brain but she bears a resemblance to Lara Parker. I hope she colors her hair brown. Trying to keep an open mind until I see the new show.

I can imagine a Southern Dark Shadows with stories involving eccentric relatives (which they already have). Maybe on St. Simon's Island or Cumberland Island off the coast of Georgia.

A couple of times during the early part of the series Vicky gives accounts of life in the foundling home. She was lonely, didn't know her true birthdate. An attendant played a cruel trick on her, telling her that her parents were coming for her. She waited and they never came. 
There is a scene with Elizabeth sitting in the dark in the drawing room banging on the piano. The mood there is very sad and depressing.
