After actually watching today...I had forgotten how much I enjoyed this one facet of Leviathan...

I love watching Barn, Julia, Quentin and Maggie be in cahoots with each other against "Them!"

I really wish the writers etc had thought of this aspect sooner; I think with a little more time & energy, the viewers would've enjoyed this more....

i agree

Too bad (after Lady Kitty) Maggie got got duller and
always the victim! waste of talent IMHO

How true.  How much more interesting it would've been if they would've left some of that edge in Maggie when she became the governess.  (I liked it when you faintly saw that spark when she ragged on Michael.)  I don't mean the blonde-wig, Eve-Arden, you're-a-jerk in the first few episodes Maggie.  But just how she remained more tough in the first season, ala when she forced her father to come clean on the car accident.  Maggie with a touch of Patti and Selma (Marge Simpson's sisters) would have made for a great character.

so true i would have liked to see her kick Bruno's and that Sherriff's butt Emma Peel style today!!!(i loved The AVENGERS
because of the women who didn't take it!) ;D

jennifer

Bruno should have been kicked just for wearing that coat!
that  would have scared me more that the dead sherriff! :o

Murph

i know what you mean i was about your age also and i remember
some storylines better than others when i watched the whole series as an adult was surprized that some of it was as i remembered but some was very different! maybe that is why
i recall some of the things my parents told me what we did
as children different than they do LOL! ::)

Testing. 1, 2, 3... / Re:In the Mood?
« on: May 15, 2003, 09:31:26 AM »
Well, not only are none of the people who've set a mood so far (Cassandra, Josette, ProfStokes, victoriawinters & myself) having anything approaching the right mood appear in their posts, but what's really odd is that people who haven't even set a mood (like jennifer and Midnite) are having moods show up in theirs!

I think the forum needs a thorough exorcism before this feature will be safe to use.

Hmmm - now where is that dowsing rod...

well....this has been a weird day just drove home from work and the MOON was so beautiful and full(lWhere is a good werewolf when you're looking for one!)so nothing would surprize me today!

This board is getting better and better all the time!!  The three of you are always putting so much or your time and effort into maintaining this forum and I really want to thank you for that.  I still say that this is the best Dark Shadows board on the web!  I use to look for DS groups to join all the time and would search the web for one, but after finding this board over a year ago,  I stopped looking!  [wink2]

« on: May 13, 2003, 03:38:07 AM »
Hi, Im trying to figure out this new Karma thing thats displayed on the page that tells how many posts a poster has.

I can see there is a "cure" and "curse" button on the page. Now, does this mean if one likes what a poster has written, he is suppose to click "cure?"   And if one disapproves or disagrees with what a posters writes, he is to click "curse?"

Deb

i think some people have been just having fun and clicking
curse whether they like the post or not ....just IMHO

jennifer
also will it always stay at 127?
