Current Talk '02 II / Locked Doors?
« on: July 18, 2002, 06:07:47 PM »
Today's episodes gave a resemblance to normal people who lock doors and go to bed wondering why other people are out wandering around.  Normal people is stretching it I know.

Rainey

You are right about the tail.  Unless the suit is made to accomodate it somehow.  Guess we will never know.

Be rather miserable sitting down if it were concealed.

;D

Anyone else have any artwork they would like to do with the keyboard characters?

The only things Nicolas Blair lacks are horns, a tail and a pitch fork.  ^^  ~  -----<  .

Christmas at the old house.

Beautiful pine boughs drape the staircase with red ribbons and pine cones.  Also pine boughs around the pillars that are on either side of the drawing room.  A nice full pine tree in the middle of the bow window alit with candles.  Antique decorations adorning its branches.  Antique angel in ivory brocade and gold embellishments on its gown gracing the very top of the tree.

Barnabas resplendent in a deep red velvet smoking jacket sitting by the fireside drinking his Christmas wine in solitude, thinking of the women he loves.  (He's loved several, has he not?)

Julia standing outside his door with her hand in hesitation about to knock.

I could likely write a whole story about this.

Chamber pot is what they were called.  I am old enough to remember when we used to visit people on the farm and that is what they used at night.  Beside the bed.  I was raised in town and we had indoor plumbing.

A joke about that pot is, a young fellow from town was visiting his cousin on the farm overnight for the first time.  Came time for bed and he was going to share the bed with his cousin, and prior to going to sleep the cousin was on his knees on the floor on his side of the bed.  The young fellow thinking his cousin was saying his prayers then knelt down on the floor beside the bed on his side.  His cousin then said " Mom is really going to be mad.  There is no pot on that side."

Well anyway, joke of the day.

I could see Nicolas Blair dressed in black top hat, black suit, white shirt, string tie, and black cape.  Twirling his mustache while standing over Cassandra who is tied to the railroad tracks, train approaching.

I guess no one else is going to admit to being mature.

I think there are other mature members, probably not as mature as me.  At least no one has admitted it.

I do remember the "Helter Skelter" days.  Not alot of it.  I thought it was shocking, back then it was extremely shocking.  I live in South Dakota, probably ultra shocking to us.

I think children are an inconvience to Roger Collins.  You know the old adage, children are to be seen but not heard.  Well he doesn't even want to see them.

Have the nanny educate him and send him on his way, don't bother me about it.

Roger seems so cold at times, I wonder how he got a kid in the first place.

Okay, Julia decides she has buried Barnabas alive, then she hems and haws around forever getting around to digging him up.  I would have been right out the door with the shovel.  Stokes was a rather slow digger but he did say he wasn't used to such work.  Then Julia is brushing the dirt of the coffin before she opens it up.

For a life or death situation, really drawn out.  She's a doctor she should know every minute counts when a person has no oxygen.  She'd make a really poor EMT.
