;)  ;)  ;) I agree with Robin, let Quentin and Beth live happily ever after, but then we wouldn't have the wonderful stories re Quentin through the centuries.  If they lived happily ever after, they would be stuck in their time, and Q could not meet Barnabus and Julia, etc.

?!? I wonder why the burning of Angelique did not free Barnabus from her spell as it did Vicki?  I believe that we have talked about this before, but it has been freshly brought up.  A has died many times, but it never freed B, but it seems to work wonders for her other victims.  Maybe the spell for making a vampire is stronger??

[scrm][scrm][scrm] I agree with Dr. Lang.  Didn't Joshua realize that each night Barnabus awoke to find himself trapped in a narrow coffin.  What greater horror could that have been???I shudder to think.  When Joshua was eating, did he ever think of Barnabus locked up like that with nary a morsel for hundreds of years?  What about sleeping, did Joshua ever wake to wonder how Barnabus was occupying himself?  It cramps all of my bones just to think of lying on my back for centuries, awake and not being able to move or communicate.  What greater horror!!!! [hello][hello] I agree that Barnabus and Julia were great "being in charge", after all all of the other adults had deserted the children.  Even Carolyn spends her time with her mother's coffin!  It is understandable that Barnabus tried to stand in for Roger, but if he had not received the summons from Vicki to go back to the past, was he just going to dash off to Boston with nary a thought of leaving Julia in charge of the whole Collins madhouse?  He is doing that now by returning to the future.  It is too much to ask of Mrs. Johnson to be the only level head and cool voice left at the old homestead!
