MB--try the couch cushions.  I found a missing pair of sissors in cushions of the sofa in the basement.   I won't tell you how long they were missing or when the last time it was that I cleaned the sofa.

My Family keeps asking me "If I am caught up" in my viewing.  They have not noticed the mad woman who runs around the house in the morning screaming "No one touch the TV or the VCR" is oddly silent.  Think my family has stopped paying attention to me????  The tapes are going to come out soon,

Happy Birthday Julia99, you young thing!  I am ten years older than you and I am still in denial that I could ever be this age!

Enjoy!

Annie, put your mind to rest, I have had high cholesterol for years and have been taking meds for it.  Like Mark's, mine runs in the family.  My diet was never the issue.  My doctor tested me when I was in my 30's.  Also have high blood pressure, this comes from being what he calls a stress-magnet.  Luckily the meds keep it in line.  When, I go to the doctor, I just look at him and ask him what else he can find wrong with me.  i have had no side effects from any of the meds.

I just got back from a trip to Hyde Park, N.Y., and FDR used what they called a truck elevator, sort of like a dumb waiter but bigger and with the same type pulley system.  I can see Gabriel doing this.  He would have incredible upper body strenght.

Birdie- if any of you ever get the chance I would recomment the trip

What other musicals did she take part in?  I also am in awe of her talent.

Gerard,
I have never had a "real" experience with a family member with Alzheimer's but also thought that the Ben/Daniel relationship seemed rings true.  The age thing could be explained many different ways.  Yes, Ben is a great deal older than Daniel but ill health and mental illness can age a person conciderably.  I know many a older person who you would never guess they were 75-80 and yet others years younger that seem so much older.

Inconsistancy-  What do we expect this is Dark Shadows.

I also have to agree I really enjoy l840.  As Vlad has stated the charactors are very rich.  Chris P. acting ablitiy seemed to have matured when taking on the role of Gabriel.  I like the idea of Barnabas not knowing Julia and reverting to a little bit of the old Barnabas.  I know what is to come so, I won't throw any spoilers out there.

Jen, is it four hours?  I thought we made it to the Tapanezz in about 3 hours, than again, maybe the husband does exceed the speed limit on occasion.  If the fest came to Boston I would be glad to co-host a gathering with you.
