Love your avatar!  Magda is one of my all-time favorites!

Thanks.  :D  I figured it was about time she was represented on this Board. Thanks also to Midnite for making it happen for me.  :-*

Just finished going through "The Columbo Phile: a Casebook" by Mark Dawidziak. It has detailed cast listings for every episode, but, sad to say,  no  Grayson.  :(

I have to say the whole "this image is copyrighted" that happens when you click on her is driving me a lil nuts too.

That only comes up if someone right-clicks on it. Why would you right-click?  [hdscrt]

I never right click, yet I get that message lots when I start chasing those things. Today I was lucky enough to catch it and received over 300 curses though, so I'm feelin' good.  ;D

Thanks to all of you for your kind birthday wishes.  I had a great birthday celebration by taking a lovely trip to Death Valley, a beautiful place to visit in the winter.

Now I've got to get caught up with all the happenings in Collinsport.  ;D

For the Graysonholics out there, Amazon.com is now listing "Night of the Iguana" available for preorder on DVD. Great price!   :D  But no mention of extras that I could see.  ???

Is it warner or Turner Classics .. i've heard varying stories. . i tried to trumphet the Divine One to the leaders of Warners.  ..no response. . .

I found it listed for pre-order on the Turner Classic Movies site. No mention of it being part of a box set.

It's part of a Tennessee Williams box set so its possible its not going to be available as a single release yet. Warners does that occasionally with a box set, but not always.

It's listed for $15.95 and doesn't mention being part of a box set, so hopefully I've only ordered the one movie. If not, for that price I'll enjoy the other Tennessee Williams movies as well.

Thanks for the heads up, Darren.

I not only voted, but searched the site and discovered that "Night of the Iguana" will be released in early April and is available for pre-order. Of course, I wouldn't be a true Grayson Fan if I didn't take advantage of that offer.  ;D  I've been checking Amazon faithfully and they still don't have it listed.

Current Talk '06 I / Re: Julia at the Blue Whale

First of all, that is one hysterical dream. Had me laughing out loud at the toast points.  [laughing1]

Yes, Julia visited the Blue Whale at least once. During the Leviathans, she and Quentin went in looking for Barnabas, [spoiler]who had just been turned into a vampire once again, and found him chatting up Buffy.[/spoiler]Julia and Quentin went over to the bar and when Quentin asked her what she was having, she responded "toast points" er, that is, "anything."

Current Talk '05 II / Re: DVD Menu Screens
« on: November 23, 2005, 01:53:38 AM »
Has anyone seen set # 21's menu, yet? I just picked it up today. It's different (and pretty nice). I love the waves.

I really like it, too. Gone is the trip through the mausoleum, and the menu comes up immediately, with nice new graphics. I really like the use of the color red on the menu screen. :D

Edith Adams, ugh.

Very interesting. When she did "Wonderful Town" with Roz Russell on stage in the early 1950s, IIRC she actually WAS billed as Edith Adams!

Great coverage for Ben! Hurray!   [banana]
