Current Talk '03 I / When do YOU watch your Dark Shadows?
« on: January 17, 2003, 01:41:49 AM »
Hi Everyone,
When do YOU watch your Dark Shadows?
I used to tape it and watch it all at night, but now with the new time slot, I watch 1/2 in the am before work & 1/2 at night.  It's turned out to be "not so bad".

Current Talk '03 I / David told the dream to Barnabus?
« on: January 16, 2003, 01:34:32 AM »
Hi, Did I hear Joan right today in the opening monologue?  She said "David" told the dream to Barnabus.  I heard her actually correct herself a few days ago when she called Jamison "David", but I can't remember hearing that much of a mistake in an opening monologue.  Later it occured to me that it must have been a writer's mistake since the monologues are probably read.  Weird!

Current Talk '02 II / Blue Sheets & Green Blankets
« on: November 05, 2002, 03:05:57 AM »
Ever notice how everyone in Collinsport, past and present, all have blue sheets & green blankets?  In the hospital, the old house, Collinwood, the past.  What's with that!

Current Talk '02 II / DS Chain Reaction
« on: November 02, 2002, 02:52:52 AM »
Hello, Since I had SO MUCH time the past couple days (without any Dark Shadows to watch), I was thinking, (like a lot of you), how cool would it be to have a Dark Shadows Chain Reaction on SciFi - but not just of HODS and NODS, but of any scarey or scifi movie that any DS star was in.  Wouldn't it be fun to see them all in different roles?
What movies would be in our DS Chain Reaction?

It's AMAZING how the thunder at Collinwood always sounds right after a dramatic statement...without fail!  It sure is a stormy place!

Current Talk '02 II / Wishes for the people of the 70s
« on: August 29, 2002, 08:40:06 PM »
A wish for the people of the 70s...

For Mr. Blair & Eve, a trip to the dentist for some teeth bleaching.

For Barnabus, Julia & Willie, if there were ever 3 people who needed cell phones more...!!!  ring...Julia?  It's me Barnabus, I'm trapped in a wall again.  Can you come get me?  Can you hear me?

Current Talk '02 I / Tally This
« on: May 10, 2002, 08:48:54 PM »
Hi!
I was just wondering how many thousands of times Vicky says "I don't understand", or how many people Barnabus has eaten (that's what I call it when he kills someone).
Let's see, there was Dr. Woodard, Angelique, Reverend Trask, scared poor...Joshua's sister to death, Jerimaiah, and what about all those girls in town.  I must have forgotten some..

Current Talk '02 I / Question on the Family Name
« on: March 28, 2002, 10:44:57 PM »
Hello all.  Just wondering, if Barnabus is dead, and Jerimiah is dead, and everyone else is female...who is going to carry on the family name?  I guess Joshua and Naomi (Naomi, right?) will be having more babies?
Eewwe.
So sad when Sarah died, almost cried!
Sidenote:  I heard Millicent call Nathan "Joe" out in the woods, day before yesterday.

Current Talk '02 I / History
« on: March 15, 2002, 11:05:41 PM »
If Vicki EVER gets back to 1967, will Barnabus suddenly remember her from 1795?  Surely, he would remember her - the stranger from the future, even after spending all that time locked up in his coffin.  Has Vicki changed history at all?  The story that is unfolding seems to be different than the stories Barnabus tells.  Has Vicki taken the brunt of the Witch Hunt that would have been directed at Angelique?  I wonder...

Current Talk '02 I / TLATKLS
« on: March 06, 2002, 01:46:18 AM »
Question for Ringo..."TLATKLS", I'm guessing..."The Lovely And Talented Kathryn Leigh Scott". (?)
Sure wish she would have stuck to her fashion guns yesterday and not let Angelique pin that hideous flower to her pretty dress...

Have any of you ever come across the Dark Shadows Drinking Game? Here's a link to the rules. It's hilarious, I always think of it when I see the boom or a wall shakes.

What the heck is Josette's portrait doing on the wall already? Josette just arrive a few days ago. I guess they lugged it all the way from Martinique?

Current Talk '02 I / B&W vs. Color
« on: January 30, 2002, 06:48:26 PM »

Hello! I love the black & white episodes - they seem more creepy, but I LOVE the color episodes too, so I can see what everyone REALLY looks like. I guess I just LOVE this show! You know, one of the hardest things to get used to with DS is how they move around in time and the actors play different characters. Also, that the story lines don't always seem to make sense, but those things that were difficult at first, make it all the more fun! Now that I've let go of the logical, on weekends, or a slow day at work, I can read some of a Dark Shadow novel, or that round robin story written by many of you, (I think. And oh my, Julia how risque!)and get a taste of DS everyday - even holidays!
