Current Talk '03 I / Wild about Julianka!
« on: February 09, 2003, 03:55:28 AM »
I really liked Julianka. I only wish she could have stayed on rather than that obnoxous Aristead( or what ever his name is?)
Diana Davila played Anne Frank in the 1967 movie? Is that true? Funny thing is I just showed that movie to my class last Thursday and had no idea it was her.
Well, I guess Ms Davila had other plans.

Cheers.

Thank you very much for your kind word regarding my loss of my dear cat Willie. Wille had a life long urinary track problem (although this is not what did him in). This ment lots of special attention and care. This made the bond even greater. However was was very strong and I marveled at his athleticism. In his prime he was a trim 13 pound cat. I believed he could have weighed 18-20 and would not have been obease.
He died at 5 pounds. A few more days and he would have lost his dignity, but that did not happen.
I still have his litter-mate, Molly, who to me is feline perfection
Thank you for your well wishes,
Brian

Oh, dear William. I just can't go on another step. You go ahead but I simply must rest my aching back. (Will always stayed and the aliens always caught up)
Interesting that He was haveing a proceedure done on his "aching back." The same aching back that caused the Robinson so much trouble.
Jonathan Harris sure had a hugh impact on my childhood and life.
Very tough week for me. I lost my beloved feline,Willie ( for which I am devastated), and a childhood icon.

See what excessive drug use can do? Its symptoms manifest in the strangest ways --  like a bunch of stressed -out executives trying to win browing points with their higher-ups with no idea of, or corncern for, quality programing come up with progressive idea that might make a few more dimes for the shareholders.
What a bunch of creeps!
I am going to put a spell on them!!

I didn't want to say it but go to any high school and half the members of the football team act just like Adam.
"I take what I want" ;)

Current Talk '02 II / Adam and High School Memories

I always keep thinking that Adam reminds me of someone; however I have never been able to put my finger on it. Now I think I know: High School. No one in particular -- but he conducts himself much the same as the prototypical Big, dumb, High School- Age Bully does. You know the kind of big guy that would use intimadation to cover up his own inadequacies. I am sure that everyone knew at least one person like him, or perhaps you have tried your hardest to forget such a person. ;D

Since this is my first time around I am hoping that the time and dimension changes will bring about deeper characters. :o I can't wait for the next story line!!

Sometimes it is a bit annoying to see how much the original Collins have been dummied down since the supernatural change. Liz is aso weak and clueless. She used to be so strong. Roger has mellowed (perhaps for the better) but he is still a bit "in your face" at times.
With all the weird stuff going on how could they be so clueless? At least ( the seldom seen) little David should be figuring things out .
I supose the ignorence is helping to keep the show interesting., but sometimes you just want to jumo inside the TV and tell the characters to think back and rememebr what happened a while back --  ?!?

Current Talk '02 II / Re: Nicolas Blair
« on: July 17, 2002, 02:02:22 AM »
Come now people. That delightful little smile. Those good manners. The genuine concern he shows for humankind. As Maggie Evens said, "What a nice man!"
In reality, I sure am getting a kick out of this Mr. Blair. As little Anthony ( from that famous "Twilight Zone" episode) might have said..."Your a bad man, Nicholas Blair. Your a very bad man!! (If only he could be turn into a Jack in the Box)
This Blair dude is pure bad. He makes Angelique look like Mother Teresa. But, that funny little hat, that evil smile, that phony charm,  and those condescending words of concern...... how priceless

Current Talk '02 I / Those Darn Stagehands
« on: June 15, 2002, 03:32:41 AM »
Only on Dark Shadows will a stage hand suddenly appear duing an intense scene. I give credit to John Karlen for keeping it together, even though I thought he nearly lost it when he mentioned getting the "willies"
:o

Current Talk '02 I / Re: Scariest Character
« on: May 29, 2002, 02:52:58 AM »
The scariest for me is Angelique. Why? Because she is really a very pretty woman, but those eyes just go right through me.
Her eyes change from sincere -- to the disapproving look of a school teacher -- to pure evil. AS a man you want to believe her. I mean, that dramatic, breathy voice and that pretty face -- what is a man to do except run as fast as he can for dear life? :o

I have 7 cats! Everyday when I sit down to watch DS 4 of the cats come and try to pile on top of me. I call it quality bonding time with my feline family. I know the cats recognize the theme music and they often seem to be staring at the screen. ;) It is my, as well as their, favorite time of day.
