My heart is broken at this news...I am a 42 year old married man and...I am emotional and crying too...My condolences to his daughters and entire family. TV's greatest visionary has left us to be reunited with his loving wife.  I am just so sad....nothing else to say...Kevin S.

Beyond the murkiness and cropping has anyone noticed artifacts/blemishes..I just watched Ep 1 and just before Vicki looks at the picture of Josette there were bluish whitish marks that just flashed for split second...I dont think this is pixellation because I can always hear my DVD player start to "choke" or sound a little off when that happens This seemed like it was in the print.

How much did the OS go for...if u are still counting your pennies please contact me I can definitely beat Ebay prices and am looking to sell teh Original series and last few vol's of CS for less than 1.00 a tape

I have medical bills and other things that need attending to... I bought these 2 years ago for $900 plus 100 UPS ground shipping..I'd like to sell them along with sealed copies of the last few Collector's series w/ uncut early Barnabas eps..I am asking 200 plus whatever shipping comes out to be..in some cases there are multiple copies of a few volumes..Ill include both..if there's is anyone interested  who'd like to see the entire Barnabas run for less than the 1500-200 that the DVD's will cost please message or email me..This does not include the pre Barnabas CS volumes...Thank you

I paid 900 plus 100 for postage 2 years ago...I am interested in selling them for about half that in case there are any folks on here that may be interested who are not buying the DVD's.

Just to follow up this was straightened out by MPI in timely fashion so, as they said, its a good idea to go straight to them with problems like this...guess the number 13 was just unlucky for me for a while...its a great set.

Thanks for the responses I have a friend who I got interested in the show...he bought the first 4 sets on DVD...after numerous problems on set 4 he gave up...I am sure there are many people who will they haven't had any problems but there are some.like us, who have. Be fore my wedding I bought DVD's at an alarming rate ...if u count the actual discs...meaning a box set of 7 as 7 actual discs then I have 400 discs...I have had 6 that wouldnt play and 3 so far have been DS...Back in the tape days I had a problem w/ Collector's series #2 VHS and also received 1 misship from MPI and 1 cracked video...They are now shipped from Allied Vaughn in IL...the problems dont seem any better...

Have any of the other "Clubmembers" received theirs yet?  I have had 2 set13's with concentric scratches that lock up Disc 3 at about the 44-45 minute mark on 2 different players.  I have over 400 discs and have had 6 defectives...3 have been DS MPI releases ..by the time I send this back I will have paid about 80-85 dollars for the set..Where on earth are these being pressed and packaged?
