I haven't really been here in a while, but I do agree with what some of you have to say regarding the new film, and those ds fans that blasted  it. I enjoyed it very much. It was different. I enjoyed that. Even my late friend Bernie, whom passed this summer enjoyed it and wanted the Blu ray, and he was not a fan of the original series.. Speaking offans complaining that it was too different. Rememmber back when the 1991 series started. Do some of you remember what the biggest complaint was, or  at least one of them. That Dan remade House in the pilot. I loved that show, and remember even over 20 years ago, original   fans were blasting that show. Some people are never happy.Star Trek has survived because its fan base accepted all the different  versions that came about through all the years. Many DS fans did nothing but complain, and yes, I guess bother and harass other. I wish we could just enjoy what we have had.Considering that the original series was a different type of daytime show, that did spawn many different things from it. We truly have been very fortunate.Thankyou for letting me air my feelings about this, I love all versions of DS!

  I am still waiting for my Blu rays. I received a email from Amazon regrding Hurricane Sandy, and the delay. I am hopefull it will be here Thursday. After the horrors I saw on TV the past 2 days regarding the aftermath of this storm, I cannot cry about a delay. I feel terrible abut the devastation I saw happen. But thankyou for letting us know HODS and  how it looks.

A wonderful letter David, I began to get teary eyed again, realizing again our friend Jonathan is no longer with us. Thankyou David.

Ok everyone, we all know we have lost Jonathan. His performances on the original show, and House of Ds, and of course his one man shows are available to us. To be quite honest with all of you, I don't really give a damm about what Jonathan's sexuality was like. Its not my concern. And  frankly, I don't give a damm. Let him rest in piece. He was a good guy, he tried his best, and in my opinion was good to his fans. Case closed.

thankyou Madscientist for the information. Its truly amazing what that article said about a show no one cares about. Too much hatred around. That is terrible. But thank you very much one again.

Mine are ordered, one set for me, and the other for my little sister, although she is not so little anymore, but if it wasn't for her, I never would have watched Dark Shadows to begin with, she got me started watching it on Thanksgiving, 1968.I am hopeful, that someday, perhaps Warner Brothers will have a change of heart, and complete the restoration of Night.
