Note to MB or Midnite: How do I eliminate those obnoxious lines that seem to permeate every picture I upload?
I don't think you can because you're taking the pictures from a TV.

Question then, how come everyone else's are nicer? Is there some way to "clean up" the pic once it's been taken off the TV? :)

I think Buzz that people are pulling screen grabs from the DVDs, rather than taking a photo from the screen.

Okay, I'm a real TECHNOPHOBE, LOL! I have all available DVD's, can you tell me how to do this so I can get away from the archaic "taking pics off da TV"? ;)

LOL, gotcha. You'd need a screen capture software program for your specific system. If it makes a capture of your screen, you would save it for editing out what you don't want, or to skip that step you can set it to capture one window. Some graphics programs have a dedicated screen capture utility, and there are some stand alone programs that you can download (free or shareware) or purchase.
::BuzzH runs away screaming:: ;)
These programs capture DVDs, but I make my DS captures, avatars, etc. from videotapes so as to not step on MPI's toes (if MPI had toes), and I'm pretty sure MB does too.

Thanks! :D
My son ragged on what he called the worst fade-in he'd ever seen. I can't get him to understand that in 1969 it was an awesome sight. ::)
Regarding the digital photos of your screen, try standing farther away-- even farther if it's a large screen-- then cropping everything but the image.

I'll try that, thanks! ;)
