I don't know what others' experiences were, but they handed out both the figure and the sticker when I saw NoDS at a local drive-in a few days after it opened in my area (and I have my figure proudly displayed in my home office). But by the time it opened at an indoor theater two weeks later I was told they had all been handed out the first week of release...
