I had to post this capture because I think that, dramatic though it may be, it's one of the most unintentionally hilariously absurd moments on DS. Yes, the new governess has fainted - let's just stand here looking at her down on the floor!  ::)  ;D

NATHAN: What's up Barnabas, my homeboy!
NAOMI: Lt. Forbes, I don't understand that nonsense!

B: What in God's name IS that Mother?
N: It's that damn cat again!  I told the servants to set up a litter box!   >:(

Barnabas: Who's that Mother... a new servant?

Naomi: I think so, although I believe she shouldn't be taking her break here on our new carpet... first her, then the next thing you know all the servants will want to...

Everyone was trying to figure out what the dog ate that could make it throw up with a color that matched the rug.

Naomi:   "I never believed that cat was Joshua, but look... he has Joshua's exact same incontinence problem!"

Barnabas:  "Interesting..."

A chagrined Nathan, a shocked Naomi and a bemused Barnabas looking down and witnessing an 18th century version of artist Spencer Tunick's mass-nude-tableaux, entitled: "Suki Forbes Meets the Entire Collins Fishing Fleet!" :o

Thank you!  (I wonder if Barnabas and Julia Hoffman ever went skinnydipping off of the obviously secluded Shipwreck Cove beach on some romantic, moonlit night?)  ::)

LOL!    Kudoes to Tunick on getting the whole fleet into the Drawing Room.  (That's where they are, right?  I"ll have to go back and check.)

Naomi:  "I wouldn't mind, but they all reek of fish..."

Naomi:  Good Lord, child, why did you faint?

Vicki: I--I don't understand!  I didn't think they made LIME GREEN  clothes in 1795!

As he watched Red Rover scuttling towards the finish line in the lobster race, Nathan thanked his lucky stars that he was born nearly two centuries before the advent of drug testing.

Barnabas:  "Well, I guess we could just step over her..."
Naiomi:  "Nathan, be a dear and drag her off to the side, would you?"

Naomi: Barnabas, Nathan, shouldn't you help the girl up?

Barnabas, and Nathan in unison... I'm not gonna, tell him to!(in reference to each other.)

Barnabas: "I don't know, mother, but I think it's from another time."
