I found various DS novels on EBay for $12.95 plus $2.66 shipping each. These books often go for more than 3 times these amounts. A search for "Dark Shadows" and Barnabus (sic) brings them up along with some others.

Here's a link to the dealer's listings of the 12 novels.

It's always fun to look at things like ebay and see how many of the novels and comic books I've got. On this latest two postings provided by The Doctor I've probably got around fifteen of them if not more.

Glad I could help. Did you buy 32, "Barnabas, Quentin, and the Vampire Beauty," Gerard? It's been scooped up by somebody.

Thanks for the heads up about the novels, The Doctor and K9. And congrats to whoever got Vampire Beauty. I remember when that one used to go for hundreds of $$$ back in the '80s and '90s!!

You're welcome. Hidden Tomb is gone now, but Mad Magician and Sea Ghost are still available at what I consider a bargain price. I often see them priced at upwards of $25.

Never bought that one, Doctor. All the novels and comic books I have (I'm surprised my mom didn't throw them out during a "house-cleaning") I purchased when they originally came out. I've never purchased any collectibles on-line.

All of my Ross novels were bought second hand, Gerard. I read my first one, "The Mystery of Collinwood" in 1976. That was a borrowed copy. I spent the next 6 years on a quest to get the rest. I never paid more than a dollar for them. The comics were another story. I found a number of them second hand in thrift shops and the like, but many of them were bought from comic dealers and at Festivals.
