Title: KLS and Fonzie?
Post by: Uncle Roger on January 23, 2018, 09:30:19 PM
In some ways, not as bizarre as you might think. In others, more bizarre than you could imagine.

In the early 1980's, there was a Saturday morning cartoon spinoff of Happy Days entitled Fonz and the Happy Days Gang where Arthur Fonzarelli, Ralph Malph, Richie Cunningham join a talking dog named Mr. Cool and an alien girl with Pippi Longstocking pigtails named Cupcake in a series of odd adventures. Seems that Cupcake's spaceship is also a time machine but it malfunctions, sending the characters anywhere and everywhere, except 1957 Milwaukee. Part Mr. Peabody. Part Sliders. Part Doctor Who. Surprisingly, this ran for two years.
What does this have to do with TLATKLS? Wikipedia and imdb both list her as "additional voices". As good as she is at selfpromotion, Scott has never alluded to this in any of her books or during a star panel. I never saw the show, though there seem to be some episodes on YouTube. From what I've read about it, I can't say that I blame her for not bringing it up.

Interesting...

I never saw the show either, so I can't offer any evidence one way or the other as to whether or not KLS did voice work for it. Though it's also interesting that both seasons are out on DVD...

I dug a little further and found a 36 second clip on YouTube of the closing credits. Kathryn is listed, though no specific character or characters are mentioned.
