Title: Kate Jackson's Autobiography
Post by: Uncle Roger on January 14, 2015, 09:20:40 PM
Kate's much delayed autobiography, The Smart One, was supposed to be released on February 1. The book has had many delays since I first heard about it in 2011 and it has apparently been delayed again. Amazon and Barnes & Noble are now giving a release date of December 2020. [snow_wow]

How odd... And some of us who might be interested and/or she could be dead by then!  [snow_rolleyes]

But thanks for the info, Uncle Roger.  [snow_smiley]

Odd indeed, MB. [snow_huh]

Even Lara Parker didn't need that long to get a book published. [snow_laugh]

Somewhere last year on the announcements board I posted an item, I think from Billy Masters, about the problems Kate was having getting going on the book.  But 2020 is extreme by any standards.  One wonders if that was a typo.

Reportedly, when Mary Wilson of the Supremes started work on her own memoirs, she had to undergo hypnotherapy to help surface buried memories.  When she sat down to write about her life in the Sixties, she drew a complete blank.

Me too! Her memories of her time on DS would be most interesting. And I really want to know what the story is behind her animosity towards Cheryl Ladd.
