Interesting.  So in the CDs where David co-stars with Louise Jameson or Matthew Waterhouse (both actors noted for their roles during the 1970s Tom Baker stories of Dr. Who), the parts are all recorded separately in studios in London and LA?  That element of it really blows what's left of my mind...

It depends on the audio.  Waterhouse and Selby were both recorded together in Los Angeles- Waterhouse was in town for a Doctor Who convention and we scheduled it together.

Louise Jameson and Selby were recorded in separate countries at different times for their audio.  In those situations we'll have an actor read-in for the missing actor's part and usually I'd be sent a sample of the UK actor's line readings in a few instances either to share with the US actor or to study myself to get a handle on the loudness and energy of their delivery to make sure they both sound as if they're talking to each other.  It's actually worked very well for the most part.  Sometimes not, but I'd say the majority of the ones with multi-country casts are undetectable.

Thanks, Darren, for that information.  Intriguing!
