I thought the premiere was acutally boring this year. I hope it picks up. Several of my friends felt the same way; however it could just be me and all the drama going on with my grandmother.

actually i liked the premire. i missed a LOT OF tonite's episode though cause i was talking on the phone with my Grannie.
something that is indeed a RARITY. but it was nice ya know what i mean? anyways, so i missed quite a bit of tonite's episode.

Just finished watching the 2nd one. They sure are packing a lot of "cliff hanger ending events" all throughout the show. What on earth are they going to do for a full season if that many incredible things happen in one episode?

I also enjoyed the season premiere - and wow what an ending. I never saw the twist with Caroline coming (and apparently neither did the people at tvguide.com for them to have placed it as #2 on their Top Moments of the week). And as Josette alluded, they seemed to have revved up everything by several notches, so this season should definitely be a wild ride. [ghost_wink]

I am liking TVD this year but it seems to lack the UMPH of the first season! I hope it gets better for me. Maybe it's just me....Last week was good. Hopefully it will really heat up during Sweeps! JMO! [skelleton_runs] I have a couple friends who feel the same way! It just seems slow.....again maybe it's me! I will continue to watch it though as it's a good show in general.

She was great on Supernatural, so she should be a fantastic addition to TVD.
As for TVD itself, I'm enjoying this year just as much as last (last week's ep was excellent - especially the sheriff's realization/reaction). People actually complained that last year the show's plotting moved too fast, so perhaps any perceived slowness in comparison to last year is because they've decided to take things a bit slower this year. I don't know because I can't really say I've found things all that slow slow because in every ep there's at least one major revelation or significant scene that makes you sit back and go "Whoa" - and that's just fine with me. Glad you are enjoying it MB! I don't want it to seem like I don't still love the show. It's defeinately at the top of my list of shows I love. I will continue to watch and try to settle in more with it. Like I said I am watching a series that is moving a bit faster so maybe that is it? No matter what it's still one of the best shows on Television and I will definately continue to watch!

to be honest, during the 1st season it took some time before i really could get into the show. because it started out really slow. yes it did speed up after awhile but i of course am referring to the early episodes. also

i'm not denying that, they started to do that last season if ya noticed man. it became less storywise at school. which i have no problem with to be honest, but it just seems false that they would have these kids, & i know Stefan isn't a kid. but he's suppose to be so he can stay in the town longer. that's what i meant that's all

actually i didn't see that cause it's so small. i was just make a comment that's all. actually i think the season is starting a tad slower so far but than it is just the start of the season. but it's at a good pace as well.
the thing about Kevin Williamson is that he loves to keep you guessing on anything he writes. i've been a HUGE fan of his since he wrote the 1st "Scream" film back in (1996) & most of his stuff has been good. weather he does a drama like "Dawson's Creek" which i loved until the ending. even if i didn't like the end of the show. i still am a fan of his.

the episode the other nite was actually pretty damn good, don't you think? i didn't expect that dude to come back to life after being staked, well until the camera zoomed back on him i didn't expect it. than i saw it coming. plus it was nice to see Stefan & Damon to get along better.
i hope that continues throught the season at least. hopefully the series but since it's just the 2nd season i say season.

I enjoyed TVD vs SPN! For me I am more invested in SPN at this point but if TVD was six years in it probably would be vice versa. I am enjoying TVD so much more than I was thankfully. It takes a lot for me to give up on a show so I am glad I started loving it again.

Apparently the TVD DVD set is a popular item this holiday season because I was in Target this morning, where I didn't even realized that the set is also on sale for $12.99, but there wasn't a set in sight - and I overheard one of clerks telling another customer that all of their copies were grabbed within minutes of the store opening at 4am. And with a little more than two hours to go, Amazon is currently reporting that 84% of their stock has already been sold. So, if you're hoping to get a copy at Amazon, you'd better hurry...

tonite's was good. who is this guy that plays that vamp that i thought was going to take Elena. it's funny how she gets blocked into her house. which i think was funny as hell. than he just shows up!
too funny. & i am grateful that the cliff-hanger wasn't major like i thought it would have been.
