The pic from HoDS, ep #82 shows a woman.
Is she the character of Mrs. Johnson [snow_huh]
(I always get confused
and I feel the 'cures' coming,
but I'm not sure I've seen
NoDS....is HoDS where Barn turns uber old towards the end?

I've never seen either HoDS or NoDS. Here's how I keep track of which is which:
NoDS is N, as in QueNNNNtin. HoDS isn't, so there's no Quentin, so it's the one about Barnabas. Or, as some would say, BaHHHHnabas.

Yes, that is Mrs. Johnson. Clarice Blackburn was unavailable at the time, so Barbara Cason took her place. She was the wife of Dennis Patrick (Paul Stoddard, Jason McGuire), who played Sheriff Patterson in the movie.

what I always find hysterical about this is they seem to have had Clarice ship the same wig she wore out to Lyndhurst so Barbara could wear it. and it REALLY looks like a turban on Barbara.
Barbara, of course, was Mrs Dennis Patrick. Some day, I'd like to see her in another role. I have read she was a very distinguished actress.

What's really interesting about Cason is that her line delivery is quite reminiscent of Mrs. Danvers in Rebecaa. If HODS were a TV series it would be interesting to see what Cason's Mrs. Johnson would be do all of the time at Collinwood. [snow_smileydevil]

Hey Taeylor, you really need to see the version of Rebecca in which Diana Rigg played Mrs. Danvers. They really played up the lesbian subtext for dear old "Danny" in that one. Rigg's performance dominated the entire film. Hopefully it is on Netflix. The old film, with Judith Anderson in the role, is very good as well, of course.

I have been on it all day lining up a list...and they have TOOOOOOOOOOOOONS of movies, tv shows, documentaries and it's such a resonable price. No wonder all the video stores are going out of business! On topic: I may just watch both of them! :)
