Title: Jonathan Frid Creates Special Video for the 40th anniversary
Post by: Nancy on August 23, 2006, 11:50:26 AM: ShadowGram made the announcement online late last night that Jonathan Frid has recorded a special video (only a vew days ago) that will be shown at the DS Festival this weekendj. He will also be doing some readings.

I'll let ShadowGram provide the remaining details.

Seriously though - that's great news - I'm sure there are many who WILL be attending who will be glad to hear about this unexpected surprise addition to the lineup. It sounds like it's going to be a great fest and I hope everyone has a wonderful time!

It's a shame they felt they had to cut it down as much as they did, including chopping his farewell, but at least we had the fun surprise of his live phone call during the otherwise mundane cast reunion.

I went today, and it was an interesting spectacle. Got the bloopers DVD 3 months early (!), and picked up a couple books from KLS's table. She seemed really nice.

The recreated drawing room was fun (took some pics, not sure how they turned out yet). The coolest dealer moment had to be when I asked this one photo seller where all the candids taken outside ABC's studio came from, only to find out he had taken them himself, 37 years ago. Nifty.
