Title: RIP talk show host Mike Douglas (had DS stars on his show)

I just found out the news.  During his days as a syndicated talk show host (his show was taped in Philadelphia), he had several of the DS actors (Frid, Bennet, and others) on, and was one of the first to regulary feature soap performers.  Sad to think another part of my childhood is gone.  Someone should do a compilation DVD of all his big celebrity guests (the Lennon-Ono set is already out, and practically all of the tapes still exist.  On youtube.com, you can find a color clip of Judy Garland from '68 singning the song!).  Pity they don't make talk shows like his any more.
