A sadly reflective Julia:

"Real Time or Parallel Time, Maggie Evans or Roxanne Drew; I guess that I'll always be just a good friend, sort of like Julie Kavner on 'Rhoda,' to Mr. Barnabas "The Fickle-Hearted" Collins..." :'(

Grayson Hall found herself wishing that she had chosen the "product reimbursement" option instead of the "monetary reimbursement" option when she signed on to do the Playtex bra commercial.

"Well, I helped Barnabas to 'create' a man, then a woman in Real Time.  Now, I suppose that I'll have to help him 'create' a man in this time band, after Lucy Ricardo here, finally wakes up!" >:(

P.S. Men don't know what embarrasment is, they don't go to the gynocologist!  ;)

Just saw Emma Thompson in a movie undergoing one, from an old clollege student of hers.    Surprisingly, it was all utterly relaxed and comfortable.   Naw, just kidding.

Dr. JH: (thinking) "I am a doctor, barely... they've got knives here, good.... where do they sell alcohol and tupperware and crushed ice for packing stuff in this dimension?     And a good mirror for doing surgery at home later on yourself?"

Grayson Hall voiceover:  As you can see, the Playtex bra lifts and separates:  the booster rockets in the cups lift the breasts until they achieve separation from the earth's gravitational field.

Hoffman:  Three...two...one....Blast-off!

To be sure! I hope that Julia would have been savvy enough to patent the procedure!

([pointing-up]  But even if she did patent it, it might be the case that she'd have to go to PT to perform it again!!  [nodassent])

It might be worthwhile for her to make the commute.

I suppose it's a technicality but I guess she would need to be licensed to practice medicine in parallel time. Not that was ever a concern in any other time period.

Post by: Mysterious Benefactor on February 12, 2017, 07:42:12 PM
([pointing-up]  No, it certainly wasn't!  [ghost_nowink]  But that was all underground practicing. If she wants to practice in the open, I suppose she would need a license - and that could cause all sorts of problems in PT when she needs to present her credentials.  [nodassent])

([pointing-up]  Nope. I just took a quick look at all the "Caption This!" boards and it's already happened a few times - and not necessarily on the boards one might imagine.

I haven't checked the "Complete This Phrase / Fill In The Blank(s)" boards, though...)

([pointing-up]  Please don't ruin Shogun for me by associating an RD character with it, especially that one!!  [ghost_nowink]  But I certainly get the point.  [nodassent])
