 [4116] The situation at Matthew’s cottage is tense as Elizabeth tries to calm him and Vickie acts hysterically she assures him Vickie won’t talk. He eventually runs off. The women return to the great house and inform the sheriff Matthew struggling with Bill caused Malloy to fall to his death. 
     Roger returns home blaming Vickie for his incarceration. He neglects to see his behavior led to her suspicions. He wants her fired and Elizabeth refuses. She says Burke will still be a problem.  Meanwhile a figure approaches the Old House.
