Title: SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Noticed on one post  ProfStokes mentioned that it would have been nice to know background on the character Dameon Edwards. That can be true of other storylines/situations. The most obvious is the Angelique/Barnabas connection and also Quentin/Crazy Jenny match up. There could have been short flashbacks to fill in the gaps.  What other storylines lacked explaination necessary for the viewer's understanding?

I agree with you totally there Vam! I always wanted to see that one! ;)

Since it was mentioned in the Collins Family History book that Jeremiah Collins was once married to Laura Murdoch/Stockbridge, and since it was never shown, I would have liked to seen something with that. Maybe Jeremiah (or Laura) thinking back on their past relationship. Somehow, for the life of me, I just can't picture these two together.[hdscrt]

I always wondered about Barn and Ang's "nights in Martinique," and finally satisfied my curiosity by writing their story myself, in the form of diary and journal entries.

Dameon Edwards was a story that got started and never went on, and you know what?--I never wanted to.  He seemed so bland!

I would have loved mroe background on Nicholas Blair, so suave and debonaire.

Another story that failed to ignite (and I assme, like Dameon Edwards, just got dropped for some reason) was Jeremy and Carrie.  They both bored me, so who cares?

Carolyn and Joe--wished I knew more about their pairing, they seemed so different.

Liz and Paul and Jason back in the 40's--just how close WAS this threesome?

More about Bramwell and Catherine when they first met.

Although we were entertained (and I use the work lightly) by Vicki's orphanage stories, I'd have loved to see a visitor from that foundling home show up and give us some dirt about Miss Winters--like she killed the REAL Victoria Winters and took her place!

More about Liz and Roger's father, Jamison and his family.

Wasn't Edward a friend of Lady Kitty's late husband?

Yes, I think that was stated.  There didn't seem to be anything really to tell.  They met and that was that.  Would be interested to have heard more about Lady Hampshire's past and/or her marriage to Gerald Soames.
