There's going to be an East Coast event to celebrate Jonathan Frid's centenary. It's part of the Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow International Film Festival. It will be held on Saturday October 12th. Venue and ticket pricing have not been announced as of yet. Mary O'Leary, who produced the Frid documentary, will be there, screening selected footage from the documentary and perhaps some extra footage. East Coast based actresses Marie Wallace, Donna Wandrey and Sharon Smyth Lentz will be in attendance to share some of their memories of Jonathan.
For those planning on attending, please bear in mind that this is NOT a Dark Shadows Festival event. It's part of a much bigger event and a certain amount of time will be allotted. No more. There is no host hotel so fans will need to make their own hotel arrangements. Bear in mind that Tarrytown is an extremely popular area in October. Reservations may be difficult to come by. Hotels tend to be quite pricey in Tarrytown and the surrounding area in October.
Venue and ticket information is supposed to be posted later this week.

I see the Sleepy Hollow Film Festival will also be celebrating Jonathan Frid's centenary on Saturday October 12 with the east coast squad of Marie Wallace, Donna Wandrey and Sharon Smyth attending.

Hi Unc... I did see the update on the film fest site. $181 I guess is ok if you want to camp out at the music hall for 4 days... But really, if you're just interested in certain things, buying the tickets a la cart for what you want to see has to be a lot cheaper. Btw, sorry about posting duplicate info originally. [8311] I really didnt see your post when I posted and glad MB merged them together.

No problem at all, patrick!! With the hotel prices in the area hitting over $200 a night, it could be an extremely expensive weekend.

Actually, I can't take credit, it was Midnite who merged them. [ghost_smiley]

Ticket sales for the October Frid event are now on sale. Seats are $31.00 per person. Premium/VIP seats are also available for $51.00 per person. As of yet, however, the website doesn't indicate what the Premium/VIP admission entitles you to.
