Title: Joel Crothers on ebay
Post by: Uncle Roger on July 19, 2024, 10:34:02 PM
There is currently an autographed photo of Joel Crothers on ebay. It's a vintage 8x10, definitely before Dark Shadows. It looks like a quality item. However, the cost is quite prohibitive. It's listed for $750.00. Plus postage.

Don't everyone jump on it at once. [easter_wink] [easter_rolleyes] [easter_wink]

Sometimes I really wonder how insane some of the sellers on eBay have to be to think they can actually get the prices they're asking for with some of their items?  [easter_rolleyes]

Thanks for the info, Uncle Roger.  [easter_smiley]

I just received an email offering me item at the special price of $649.00. Let's see if anyone else grabs it.

Somebody is selling one of those "Barnabas TV's cool ghoul" boxes that the bubble gum cards would be displayed in back in 1968 for around $450 on ebay. It's probably already been sold. Even with the economy in its current state, there are wealthy collectors snapping this stuff up. Don't ask me to explain it.

cheers, Gothick

Gee, back in the '90s I sold on eBay an extra box I had for each card set. I honestly don't recall what the bidding eventually got to for them, though I remember being happy with the amounts, but neither went for anywhere near $450. IF that listing pans out and someone really does pay $450, apparently I sold my boxes in the wrong decade!!  [ghost_wink] [ghost_cheesy]

The Joel Crothers photo is still up for sale on eBay. The price is now $650.00.  [devil2] [devil2] [devil2] I don't know if anyone has bid on it.

Apparently that "special price" offer made to you is no longer so special.  [ghost_wink]  Apparently the seller realized they're never going to get $750 for the photo. And I seriously doubt they're going to get $650 either...

I wonder if now anyone will get a "special price" offer of $549? And chances on when that isn't jumped on, will the price of the photo drop to $550 in about a month?

Thanks for the update, Uncle Roger.  [ghost_smiley]
