Petofi, what was your Master's on, and what line of work did you go into?
My masters is in theatre - performance specifically. I have been in the professional theatre for nearly 25 years, but wanted to teach, as well. My "advanced age" (original kid who ran home from school, etc.) made me a definitive non-traditional student for sure! Three days after successfully defending my thesis, a document based on a one-man show on the life of Anton Chekhov (which I wrote as well as performed), I went in to interview for a private school post as drama instructor and drama program creator. I was offered the job on the spot! The job is in Central Florida, where I went to school for my masters.
