Microsoft plans to release a pre-patch advisory to provide mitigation guidance and workarounds for a code execution browser flaw that could lead to PC takeover attacks. The flaw puts the computers of millions of Internet Explorer users at risk. The vulnerability was confirmed on a fully patched system with IE 6.0 and Microsoft Windows XP SP2. It has also been confirmed in IE 7 Beta 2 Preview.

True - Web pages simply display directly in my cerebral cortex. ;D But in those rare instances when I do use a browser, it's either Firefox or the Linux browser Konqueror. I've also used Netscape. But the only time I go anywhere near IE is when I have to use it to check something about the forum. ;)

I still have no clue why I haven't tried Firefox yet. XD Maybe I'll download it sometime. I've tried Netscape...I don't know...just don't like it. *shrugs*

MB Dahling, I've been wondering something for a while. I've never seen a non-Windows PC (with a long ago exception of a nightschool course I took on MAC/Apple). What does your main screen (not online) look like?? Could you ?somehow? put a literal 'screen' grab?
Thanks and sorry for saying windows,
Patti
