Title: TRASK MEMORIAL WALL
Post by: VAM on April 19, 2002, 03:35:50 AM
Leave your slogan in brick to commemorate this very special occasion. The only cost for a brick and participation is that you be creative!

I dunno if I exactly understand it (I guess me and Victoria must be related or something LOL) but if it means to just put something that you would put on a brick on Trask's 'tomb', I guess this is what I would put:

"TRASK THE BRICKER...HE LIKED TO BICKER"

or "TRASK GOT BRICKED..THAT SURE WAS A KICK"

I kno, those two are horrible. Oh well  :-[

VictoriaWintersRox, I liked those!

This isn't a slogan, but--

2 cubic feet of mortar.........................................................$25
Cement trowel...............................................................$24.99
Vintage bricks for 8 X 4 ft. wall..............................................$50
"Working With Bricks and Cement, A Do-It-Yourself Guide".......$16.95
Knowing that a lying, misogynistic, manipulative and fanatical witch hunting so-called Reverend got his comeuppance in the cramped space behind the wall...................................................PRICELESS

It may take several bricks to write, but here goes:

"We don't need your incantations
We don't need your self-righteous airs
No more exorcisms near the Old House
Preacher, leave Miss Winters alone
Hey! Preacher, leave Miss Winters alone
From now on you're just another brick in the wall"

I think on my memorial brick for Trask I will state this matter of fact:

He gave warning to the powers of darkness and they did not listen to him!

To the Self Proclaimed Reverend:

He spent his entire life fighting the powers of evil,
And in the end, "They richly rewarded him!" [batang]

The Ballad of Nasty Little Trask
by CastleBee
(A liberal rip off of the old '60's ballad of Big Bad John)

Ev'ry mornin' at the court you could see him arrive
He stood five foot six and weighed one thirty five
Kinda narrow at the shoulder and thin at the hip
And everybody knew ya didn't give no lip to Reverand Trask.
(Mean Trask, Mean Trask - Mean Little Trask) [frkoff]

Nobody seemed to know where Trask called home
He just drifted into Collinsport and stayed mostly alone
Always said too much and ever ready with a slam
And if you spoke at all, you just said, "DAMN!" to Nasty Trask [vryevl]

Somebody said he came from Boston town
Where he first started to put everyone down
A slanderous word from his condemning mouth
Put many a northerner on a fast stage south.
(Nasty Trask, Nasty Trask - Nasty Little Trask!) [madan]

Then one misty, dark Collinsport day
Barnabas cracked and Trask started to pray.
He trembled and cried and his heart beat fast
But he still didn't get he was soon to breath his last - Dumb Trask
(Dumb Trask, Dumb Trask - Dumb Little Trask!) [sconf] [hdscrt]

Through the dust and the smoke of this Trask-made hell
Walked a mysterious man that the town knew well
He grabbed some bricks and motar and gave out with a cry,
"Come on so-called reverend - it's time to die!"
(Weenie Trask, Weenie Trask - Weenie Little Trask!) [wow]

And with all of his skill Barn fashioned a wall
As Trask writhed and cried and tried to call
But it was too late to avoid his secluded grave
Oops! Looks like he was the one he forgot to save! - Doomed Trask
(Doomed Trask, Doomed Trask - Doomed Little Trask!) [shckd]

Barnabas never planned to reopen that worthless pit
But he often thought of what he'd like to have inscribed on it
These few words he would choose for that plaque...
**Behind this wall hangs the Reverend Trask
and that nasty bugger sure won't be back! [skull]

FADE  (Nasty Trask, Nasty Trask - Nasty Little Trask!)

Oh, this was hysterical  [lghy]

Here I am trying to get some work done at the library and now I'm singing this new version of Big Bad John, er, I mean, Trask.  [scrm]
