TLATKLS will be making an appearance at Lyndhurst on October 29th from 11am to 2pm. It's a Friday, so that could make scheduling a little tricky for those with jobs or kids in school. Tickets are $20, though they are not yet on sale. For further information:Lyndhurst.org (http://Lyndhurst.org)

Tickets went on sale today. The $20 allows you access to the grounds and KLS but there will be a separate charge if you wish to tour the mansion.

Kathryn has upped the ante for her Lyndhurst appearance. She will have a "replica" of Josette's wedding dress and assorted "mementos" from HODS, whatever they may be.

Josette's wedding dress instead of Josette's chamber pot cleansing brush, which we've joked on the "Complete This Phrase / Fill In The Blank(s) - house of Dark Shadows" board was what Barnabas was really heartbroken Josette never got to use because she died:

I suspect no one will come up with my fill in. Magnus had recently said something similar to what I have in mind - but honestly what I have in mind isn't ripping him off because it's been a long running joke between my DS friends and I for decades.

Can you just picture Barnabas telling Willie with a dead serious straight face "Hanging here with her wedding dress is Josette's chamber pot cleansing brush" and then sadly adding "she never got to use it!"?! I practically fall down laughing whenever I picture the absurdity of it and/or see that scene and picture him saying it of all things. [stfl] But maybe that's just me...

It reminds me of the scene in The Three Musketeers where Raquel Welch gets her foot caught in a chamber pot during a catfight with Faye Dunaway. Any future incarnation of DS needs a scene like that between Angelique and Josette!😳😳😳

Perhaps she'll answer the age old question: If the bridal gown is supposed to be white as a sign of purity, why was Josette getting married in that shade of brown?
