Title: "Someone's got to tell him..."
Post by: Mysterious Benefactor on February 28, 2006, 12:52:22 AM
And here's the exact moment from February 27th, 1970 (Ep #960)  in which Roger begins to say exactly what he thinks:

(You just knew I would have to permanently memorialize it.  [b003])

I don't remember what this ep is about, but it looks like Roger's got on his "Game Face"   [headbang]

Well, this is from before 1897, so...

[spoiler]Julia and Barnabas are still trying to figure out the connection between Chris and Quentin, and other such things between everyone and Quentin's ghost occur.[/spoiler]

Nope, this is Leviathan.  Actually the episode # accompanying the pic is wrong.  It's ep #960.  Ep #699 is from late 1968.  Louie Edmonds wasn't even in ep #699.   :-

And MB changes it to 960 so I look crazy.  ::)

You get a cure along with a curse for being awesomely mischievous. ;) They may cancel themselves out, but it still makes me feel better. XD

Oops - sorry for the confusion - I'd accidentally typed Ep #699 when I meant to type Ep #960.  :-[  Though at least I did type the correct year (1970).  ;)

Ep #960 takes place during Leviathans, so [spoiler]yes,  indeed - good ole Rog is calling Jeb a "cheap, insufferable pig." If you look at the screen capture closely, you can even see that Rog is mouthing the "ch" sound in "cheap."  [b003][/spoiler]

Boy, someone has to be quick around here to post an apology before people notice you'd made a mistake and corrected it.  :-

Hey, you got the 6 and the 9 right, so you were 2/3's right about the ep #, LOL!  ;)

Hey, you got the 6 and the 9 right

I was going to point that out, too. But then I decided that with this group it might have been best to avoid going there with those two particular digits.  ;)  But now you've done it for me.  ;D

Ah, then I guess my caption for today's ep of 960 is approved then?  LOL!   >:D

If you're referring to the second caption in your post, then, yes. That's exactly what came to my mind when I saw that capture.  ;D  And If I'd posted the smiley that I would have liked to but censored myself from doing, there would have been no doubt whatsoever in anyone's mind. But the forum has this pesky little guideline about posting pornographic images - and, well, that even extends to pornographic smileys.  ;)  Here on the forum we like to go for tasteful sexual depravity.  [wink2]  (And, yes, there is too such a thing.  :D)

Actually, the feature allows you to change a cousin's karma total by 1 number only within a 24 hour period, but the reason your second cast didn't generate an error is that the feature also allows you that same period of time to change how the total has been affected.  (Repeating the same cast, however [two or more cures or curses within that same period] WILL bring up a message asking you to wait 24 hours.)  So, whichever way you cast the karma initially was canceled out by your second (different) karma cast, and your last karma cast is what presently stands.

I'm not sure if an illustration of this has been provided before, so here goes:  If karma is +10/-10 (total 0) to begin with, a cure will make it +11/-10 (a total of 1).  A curse by the same caster given within 24 hours of the cure will correct it to +10/-11 (a total of -1).  Following this up with another curse will generate an error, but following the curse with a cure will re-correct the total to 1.  In light of this, if you wish, you still have until a full day after your first cast made today on that account to change the way you've affected her karma total.  :D  Way to put you on the spot, eh?  ;)

Sorry for the interruption with mundane stuff  :P

Will there be a concession selling "Tasteful Sexual Depravity" T-shirts at the next Fest?  :D
