Until seeing the photo in this article, I don't think I ever knew Abe Vigoda was on As The World Turns. But then I never watched that soap until the late '80s after Doug Marland took over as head writer in 1985...

Wikipedia lists him as Cast Member in 1985 but his imdb page identifies the character as Joe Kravitz. Related to Abner and Gladys perhaps?
