Okay, so I'm sitting here, cracking myself up with this one, so forgive me...
What do you think the powers that be would have done if David Henesy had dropped that crystal ball during the taping of an episode? I don't see how they could possibly not stop tape, but then again...
It's late, and I'm feeling punchy...sorry...

Well, they kept rolling when Quentin smashed that lamp, so who knows! Actually, since the crystal ball was important to the plot (not really) and the lamp was not, I'm sure they would've had to stop. They probably would've had to rewrite the scene to keep the filming schedule, unless they were able to quickly replace the prop.
That brings up an interesting question. What would they have done if any important prop had been damaged or lost? What if a cameraman bumped into the picture of Barnabas and it fell onto the floor and ripped? They'd be pretty screwed!

I think there would have been a hasty, awkward edit (done fast to save money) and Henesy would have then reappeared on screen with a pink bowling ball in his hands and an ugly black eye. (After a quick phone call to see if Billy Mumy is unhappy at Lost In Space, and would be willing to take a drastic pay cut for the chance to be in an ideal work environment.)
JUST KIDDING.

[santa_grin] lmao. That's the funniest thing I've read all week.

Imagine if they forgot where the filigree pen was buried! ;)

Well, that would be alright... they could just borrow Blair's. :D
