Bones (2001) (https://www.kultcinema.ca/bones-2001-snoop-dogg-blu-ray/)

MTW plays a real bastard character in this movie - though from the trailer on the site, you wouldn't even know he's in the movie.  [santa_angry]

Bones (Shout! Factory) Blu-ray Review (http://www.rockshockpop.com/forums/content.php?8422-Bones-(Shout!-Factory)-Blu-ray-Review)

"Performances are pretty fun. Kain is likeable enough. Mondesir not so well defined and Amsing there for comic relief (his name is Mauriace but they call him the gangster of love!) and Isabelle more for eye candy purposes than anything else. They all do fine though. Weiss is a really solid villain, as is Harris, while Powell's character is a bit more complicated and played that way. Bianca Lawson is also pretty decent here."

As I've said elsewhere, to say his character is not a nice man would be an understatement. It's not the sort of role one sees MTW do all that often, but he plays it to the hilt...

Video Vault - Bones Review (https://www.yesweekly.com/film/video-vault---apr-29-2020/article_f0eb829c-8a33-11ea-91e0-23410185b5a1.html)
(Scroll down to "ALSO AVAILABLE")

this is well-made, with obvious nods toward the “blaxploitation” era, but utterly predictable, with a decided lack of humor and Dogg simply coasting, while Pam Grier, Clifton Powell, Katharine Isabelle, Ricky Harris, and Michael T. Weiss easily outshine him.

Well, considering Snoop Dogg isn't an actor, perhaps it's no surprise that the actual actors in the film outshine him.  [b003]
