Title: Dumbest lines ever?
Post by: BuzzH on December 15, 2005, 06:37:47 PM
Okay fellow Shadowphiles, let's have some fun.  What do YOU think was the dumbest line ever on DS?  Remember, because of SPOILER potential, type w/in those spoiler codes.  ;)

What do *I* consider the dumbest line ever?

From 1841 PT:
Bramwell: (to Catherine after Daphne's death when she agrees to meet him at the gazebo, their favorite trysting spot) Even in mourning you're the picture of lovliness!
In Ep. 437, Vicki tells the whole court:"Even Lieutenant Forbes had a counterpart!", while shaking her head at Nathan.

Blue Whale. Jason attempts to talk Buzz out of marrying Carolyn and asks if he may sit down.
Vicki admitting on the witness stand at her trial she took part in a seance, contacting the dead! No matter how much Trask grilled me, I would never have told some 18th-century judges and a religious fanatic persecuting me at my trial that I tried to get in touch with a ghost! Also the 1840 Quentin's threatening Charles Dawson at his trial was equally dumb and pretty much sealed his fate IMO.
