Who knows what happens to her later on?! (Though here in the real world we know the loss of Art Wallace writing her is what happens - subsequent writers apparently believed she shouldn't be anything but clueless and a doormat, which are both quite sad...)

The early part of the show has Vicki as the central character and all purpose heroine. As the show's central focus changes from her to Barnabas, Vicki slowly loses her significance and becomes much more of a damsel in distress. She still has her moments when the more intelligent and resourceful Vicki surfaces but she's pretty much a secondary character by then
