Never fear, kut! It may take some time, but Willie will return (and I'm sure that Raineypark will throw a party that day. ;)) Willie's one of my favorite characters (at least in the present day) too.

Thanks ProfStokes.....one minute I'm sitting here having breakfast in front of the computer and the next I'm wiping a mouthful of tea off the monitor [lghy]!!!!!!!
Yes, Kut, Willie returns from his Adventures at Windcliffe about the middle of May (yes, everyone, all the calendars in the house have marks on them my husband can't quite decipher)!
John Karlen also plays several other characters in the run of the series and comes and goes frequently, perhaps more so than any other actor on the show.
Of course I'd throw a party....if I could "transporter beam" you all here. As it is, I'll simply shut off ALL the phones, lock the doors, turn on the VCR and "light the candles" ;)
Raineypark, who has to go splash cold water on her face now. [blshy]

I have a piece of information from FrightVision that will certainly make your day. During the DS Q & A, Kathryn Leigh Scott said she considered John Karlen to be the BEST actor on the show. :)It was a most interesting panel...

Teddy bear Karlen, I think he's the greatest! How he made Willie's face shudder when ordered to do nasty things by Barnabas!
SPOILER!
His upcoming role in the 1968 storyline is pretty interesting, with Willie gaining a brother of sorts and being released from Windcliff a tad too early, some might say. His crush on Maggie is in full force and he's once again being ordered to do things he doens't want to do. Both Barnabas and Julia are pretty cruel to Willie at this point, and I feel sorry for him--but then again, I always did feel sorry for Willie after Barnabas got his fangs into him!
Karlen's the best!
Love, Robin

Don't worry Kut, Willie will be back! I miss him too. It would have been nice if his character had a counter-part in 1795 as well. ;)

Good ole Willie Loomis!! We miss you Willie !!!
He will be back :) and I'm also counting the days. ::)
