It’s Josette. She is the mother. Julia tries to stop the reveal which includes that Justin Collins is the father. He offered to leave Flora to have a daughter. He convinced Josette to give Melanie to him.
Daphne awakens and feels as if she came from far away. Brand well loves her dearly. I feel I’ve missed a lot to get to this.
Meanwhile Melanie is thrilled Bramwell is her brother. I would be too considering the ones she has are pretty messed up.
Daphne takes a turn for the worse and gives Bramwell her blessing to be with Catherine. She dies.

When plotline 1 comes back, better get my  1966 discs out of storage locker...  For forever now we've been on stuff I only have on VHS... with no VCR access...
