While watching end of PT, going to '95, I was reading through the episodes guide.
What is David Hennessey's last episode?
Thanks!

It was during 1840.
David got some real zingers during the "Summer of 1970" storyline. I loved this one episode where Barnabas and Julia (who today would be said to be in full "helicopter parent mode") are discovered by David in his room with, I think, Carolyn, and he angrily blurts out: "What is this, a convention?" I sometimes wonder if he improvised some of that dialogue.
I've never read just exactly why David left. I think it was some kind of dispute with the "Master of Dark Shadows" (i find it hard to type those words without laughing).

Surprisingly, there's very little information regarding David Henesy on-line. There's nothing on wiki and iMBD has only a truncated reference to him. As an adult, he owned and operated various restaurants and now lives in Panama City.

Panama City FL? (Prob not, but, one can hope!)

Nope, Panama. He's lived in several Latin American nations for quite a while as a restaurantier.

If I continue to watch (I've never seen the whole thing through chronologically), I cringe at the thought of them on the rocking horse.....

Apparently David Henesy and Kathy Cody had "issues" with the whole playroom thing, saying they were teenagers and wouldn't be involved with toys like rocking horses and such. At the same time, Anissa Jones who played Buffy on Family Affair had also become a teen and was fed up being treated like a little girl and wanted to dump her Mrs. Beasley doll but the producers refused. According to Hollywood lore, her insistence that her character be allowed to grow up or she would walk was one the reasons why the show was canceled.
