See...since some people are too cool & find info, I went surfing. Instead of Google, I used Yahoo! DIG on the year Katie was purportedly born!

Patti

So I went further, and here's VH1's 'info'

She sure looks good for 104 years of age.  [lghy]

Once I asked her what she used on her skin 'cause it's always looked so great.  She told me she was a "soap and water gal".

LOL  hee hee hee hee.........ahem.

Well, she's always had a youthful glow about her.  I do know her actual date of birth, and all I'm gonna say that she and Maggie Evans were the same age when DS made it's debut....... ;)

IMDB has it as 29 January 1945...so one of them has the day wrong too.  I recall seeing her name on another list with a bizarre year of birth similar to this (however, not the infamous NNDB which does not list her at all - I'm not volunteering ANYTHING ;) ).

Well, if she's 104 years old then, all I can say is - it must be vampirism. (According to the eminent professor, it's "not a disease" you know.)

CastleBee- here's another hint.  Read Art Wallace's story bible and you can deduce the right year of birth.....

In some magazines, KLS was born on January 26, but didn't had the year mentioned. I would say 1945.

What do you mean "I do know her actual date of birth, and all I'm gonna say that she and Maggie Evans were the same age when DS made it's debut"? What's Art Wallace's story bible?

I refer to Shadows On The Wall, the original story bible developed by Art Wallace in early 1966 for the DS pilot.  It details the early storylines for the planned series, with sketches of the original characters Liz/Roger/Vicki/Carolyn/Joe/David/Sam/Maggie/Burke/Bill Malloy.  If you haven't read it yet, get a copy ASAP.  I think you can get a copy thru the DS Festival website, or get a used one by eBay.

If you have access to a copy of KLS's book about Playboy Bunnies, which includes some reminiscences, you can easily deduce her birth year from that as well.  ;)
