Isn't this where a certain clever fan speculated Lela's voice coming over the v. o. and saying "OK, Joel, we're ready for the money shot now"??

Thanks again, O most wise, handsome and talented MB!

MB,
Is it almost time for the 1st annual "CROTHERS VS. BRISCOE CHEST-OFF"? I'll try to be impartial in the voting.... honest.

I didn't enjoy that so much.

Well, I suppose that's because you're not one of the ones who knows who they are in this particular instance.  [hall2_cheesy]  But believe me, the ones who do fall into this category definitely know who they are - and they are rabid for these posts!  [hall2_wink]  And who am I to deny them?  [hall2_grin]

I'm not sure what this is referring to, but they are very nice pictures.

Thanks for sharing!

Who am I?

Well, only you know that.  [hall2_smiley]  But from your previous post I'm guessing you might not be someone who enjoys shirtless or close to shirtless photos of Don Briscoe, Chris Pennock or Joel Crothers.  [hall2_wink]  But the members who do, definitely know who they are. Hence the titles of the topics.  [hall2_grin]

You're right!  That is who I am!  I mean, who I'm not!   How can I ever thank you?   You are truly a mysterious benefactor!

Ah, to paraphrase the metaphysical Mister Malcolm Muggeridge, he is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, swaddled in software... and there are always MORE secrets to be revealed... !

Thanks, Magnus, for commenting on this post.  If you hadn't, I wouldn't have seen it, as I missed it the day MB originally posted it (there are days when I don't make it here, sadly).

Next we need some provocative shots of Nathan Forbes in those tight white trousers of his...

I'm not sure Lela would know for sure that **was** the money shot ..  [hall2_kiss]

But it's certain a tasty tidbit for us kiddies.. .

Any chance of finding any photos from Julianka's (Diana Davila) swimsuit shoot from the Collinsport Gazette? !

Alas, every copy of that particular issue that had been stored in the Collinsport Gazette archive has mysteriously disappeared. Hmmm...

While apparently rare in DS, could the be something that DS pioneered, i.e. displaying large hunks of beefcake, or was this a budding trend in early 70s soaps?
