Last night my daughter, Tessa, called me from the bakery. This is located at the local grocery store where she works. She starts asking me about all this snow we have. "What snow?" I asked. I look out the door and this 'snow' has covered everything. [hall_huh]
The next morning, we now have 4 inches of 'snow'. They called off some of the school. The college where Tessa goes is called off because they have no power. So, I'm watching Martha Stewart, and our power goes out. [hall2_huh]
So I'm sitting there and can't go anywhere and the power has gone out. My husband come home at 4:30 and we still have no power, no dinner has been cooked and I want a shower. At 5:30 it finally comes on. There is no way between cooking dinner, taking a shower, getting dressed and fighting with the roads am I going to see David Selby. [hall2_cry] [gramophone]
I want you to know that I tried, but, it just wasn't going to happen. The next time will be better. Oh yeah. To make matter worse, one of my husband tropical fish had a long, long death. Why? Because there was no power in the fish tank.

Terry, I'm really sorry to hear about this. How awful! Particularly about the poor little fish.
As Denton Welch, one of my favorite authors, used to say--"Life is a raw deal." Indeed.
Best wishes,
Steve

I'm sorry you couldn't make it, Terry308. Hopefully you'll have another opportunity soon to meet Selby, and perhaps J Frid one day, too. [hall2_cheesy]

Sorry to hear about your troubles that day TERRY308. There's always next time!
That's sad about the poor fish. :(
