Missing original pages of Dracula are pieced together in Dracul: See the haunting cover (http://ew.com/books/2018/03/27/dracul-cover-reveal-excerpt/)

Interesting concept. I did not care at all for the excerpt, however.
The most interesting Dracula pastiche I have read in recent years was in French, and began with the proposition that the SECRET journals of Jonathan Harker revealed the true story of the Count as the eternally rampant High Priest of a gay vampire cult. It was outrageous, but great fun, and told with great vigor.

I was not impressed with Dacre Stoker's "sequel" to Dracula. Great nephew or not, he chose to interpret the character in the modern manner of portraying him as a romantic hero, the misunderstood vampire. This is a clear departure from the original novel. I don't think I'll be reading his prequel any time soon. I bought the first book when it came out. I might pick this one up second hand, if it's cheap.
