I read in one of the early fanzines that Edith Tilles recommended Pantene products, so you're on the right track there, MB!

By her own admission, Nancy was very lazy in terms of her career. DS seems to have been the longest time that she ever stayed at one job. I've heard rumors about her doing a commercial for Gillette. But for what product or when the commercial was done, I have no idea.

([pointing-up]  I'm the one who mentioned that commercial. All I remember for certain was that I first saw it during a commercial break on The Big Valley and I practically fell off of my seat. I'm pretty sure it was done in '68. But where there might be more details is in a DS column in either 16 or 16 Spec because they frequently mentioned when the DS stars appeared in commercials.)
