The Amazingly talented Ms. McKechnie will be performing at the Provincetown Theatre in Provincetown, Ma on Cape Cod Sept. 10th. Don't even think about responding Sheenasma or MsCriseyde.  ;) hee hee

I thought of you bob when I saw this article. My husband sends with me to each fest his cast recording of Company in the hopes that she will attend I I get her autograph. So you have an ally in my hubby.    ;)

The American Theatre Wing has put its Guide to Careers in the Theatre on its web site. This a series of 30 hour-long interviews with prominent artists discussing how they made their way in theatre. Donna McKechnie is interviewed in "The Dancer."

Best place to catch Donna McKechnie is on old episodes of "Hullabaloo" - she was the front and center go-go dancer - so while many feel she was strident and pointless as Amanda Harris on DS, Donna could do a mean shimmy and jerk.

BTW, anyone ever notice the similarity in looks between Donna McKechnie and Kathryn Leigh Scott?
