I just have to comment on how very good both of todays episodes were. David H. back again and in great form. I truly enjoyed his scenes with Abigail, Ben, Noami, and Trask. Very natural. The dialogue was very well written. I loved the way he decribes Abigail to Trask " She seems to be always unhappy". Only a child could pick up on some of the underlying truths of the older charactors.
Also loved the confortation bettween Abigail and Barnabas. I roared when Baranabas said "Why do the think the devil always wants to touch you?" I almost expected him to add or anyone else.
Great episodes.

Hi Birdie, I enjoyed them too. Little Daniel was a hoot while he was talking to Auntie Abigail & Trask! ;D I loved his sense of humor today especially when he said to Trask,"if the devil's looks like someone, then it must be you!" lol!! Also loved it when he & Abigail were discussing "Miss Winters" thoughts on "flying" he then says to her, "why, do you want to fly too!!" These scenes were priceless!!

the more i see David H. i'm amazed at his age! What a great actor he is! Sometimes children in these shows
are just like props (brought in when needed) but he really steals so many scenes like today!!

Today's episodes were great. Clarice Blackburn was outstanding as Abigail throughout 1795. Except for the period when Quentin's ghost appears, a brief turn as Minerva Trask and 1995, she is very underutilized in my opinion for the rest of the series run.

Julian, I totally agree about Clarice Blackburn, who I feel is one of the show's best supporting players. Especially as Mrs. Johnson, where she took what was an essentially minor part and developed it into well-defined character, despite limited screen time. The show really should have utilized her talents more than it did.

;D I think that Clarice Blackburn and David Henesey have the best chemistry together on the show. Every time they are in a scene together I laugh. I will never understand why they didn't use her more often. Maybe she demanded too much money per appearance? I was disappointed that she was not on the witness stand longer. She didn't speak of a fraction of the mysterious goings on . Does anyone know why? (Perplexed) Paul ?!?
