Title: "Shadow", long time DS online participant Dies Unexpectedly

Those of you who have been on the different DS groups over the past few years knew Claudia Rosskilley as "Shadow."  She wrote stories, poetry and was on many DS lists.  Last night, while talking on the phone to her close friend Bernie V. (also on many DS lists and boards) she suddenly stopped speaking in mid-sentence.  Bernie called the police when he wasn't able to get any further response from her.  Shadow had passed away from diabetic shock (they believe that at the moment).  She leaves behind a 15 year old son, Cody.  A memorial fund for Cody's care is in the process of being set up by friends.

Very sad news.  Sympathy goes out to her son, friends, family and all her DS pals.

Hi Nancy i didn't know Shadow but i feel like i did.
                May her Soul Rest In Peace. Will keep her son in my prayers.

   Does anyone know if this poster was part of the old AOL boards and chats? There was someone with a similar nick there.
     This is very sad and all mine and Diane's prayers go out to Claudia and Bernie's family and friends.

Yes, Michael, I believe she was part of the AOL DS thing some years back.

She wrote some wonderful poems which are stored on a few Yahoo DS lists like Wyndcliff and also created nice DS graphics.  Very talented woman.  She'll be missed.

Claudia, was a dear friend of mine. At least for three years, she was, 1999 thru 2001. We would talk over the webtv for hours, sharing our lives, our thoughts, our interests. I will always love her as a precious friend, that touched my life.
