A vengeful 18th century Witch and a mysterious wig that may have a curse on it are just two ways in which this episode of BORIS KARLOFF'S THRILLER, "A Wig for Miss Devore," seems to foreshadow elements of DS:

Originally aired in 1961... it's become a favorite Halloween treat of mine over the years.

That ep is quite a bit of fun. Thanks for posting the link, Gothick. [hall2_smiley]
It's funny. Back when Thriller was on MeTV, I used to DVR it, but for some reason I never saw that ep. [hall2_huh]

It was the opposite for me - they ran the series several times, so I saw it 3-5 times I suppose. It's one I particularly liked.

Who knows how I missed it, then?

MB, I hope you didn't miss the THRILLER episode "The Remarkable Mrs Hawk," with Jo van Fleet in the title role and John Carradine. Great fun, and perhaps not all that reminiscent of DS, but full of Witchy, sardonic humor. I can imagine you loving it.
Happy Halloween!

It sounds familiar - but I'm going to have to check it out on YouTube when I get the chance to be sure...

It's a very good episode. Jo Van Fleet is excellent as Mrs. Hawk and John Carradine is also in good form. The two play cat and mouse quite well. And there's a very young Bruce Dern in a small role.

[pointing-up] That makes it sound even more familiar.
