The 2004 DS pilot for the WB was shown in an exclusive one-time-only screening.
One time only?!  Gasp!

The Blue Whale neon sign prop from the 1991 primetime DS series was the top auction item, selling for the high bid of $1,200.00.
I'm pretty sure it went for $1100.   [rleyeb]

Thanks, mrjuggins!

Yeah, and I guess I didn't do a presentation or Q & A this year, since it doesn't even get a mention.... ::)

ROTF ;D  Yes, you are indeed correct Midnite. The lucky bidder did indeed pay $1100.00 for the sign. I even photographed the winner  reaching for their checkbook to pay for it.  ;)

Yeah your presentation/Q & A was also not mentioned at the DS Festival's website in its review of the DS Weekend. Probably both oversights. In any event it is much more important to know that all of us enjoyed your presentation and that what counts the most. That extended hanging scene was just incredible. It added so much more suspense and horror to that scene. That was a thing of beauty. The seance scene was also a great one. My point is that we all greatly appreciate and recognize your hard work.

I think the seance sequence just may be the best bit of film Dan Curtis ever directed.

I have such fabulous memories of your presentation last year, Darren.  I'd love to see yoiu present again next year for the big anniversary.

I'd guess sloppy journalism is to blame for the omission of your appearance on that e-newsletter.

Best,  Steve

Thanks for the the high compliments, guys. Much appreciated. The strong response I get when I do them is one of the reasons I keep the crusade going.

Not trying to be whiny either...Just seemed a bit odd not to even mention it on either site...I think the skits got short shrift as well and weren't mentioned either...

It's going to be a weird experience when we finally see the seance in color. We're so used to seeing it in black and white!
